We are in search of a Relationship Manager AVP-VP (internally known as Loan Officer) to join our Capital Markets department in Rocklin, California. This full-time position reports to the SVP-Capital Markets and is accountable for developing and servicing the Capital Markets portfolio of participated and syndicated loans, including analyzing and packaging loans, negotiating terms, and building relationships with system and association partners.

Compensation Information

The base salary for this position is $90,000 - $144,000, depending on experience. Position is eligible for an annual incentive program in addition to the base compensation.

Job Requirements

  • Perform market analysis, due diligence, and complete underwriting on proposed loan participations, syndications, and/or similar entity loans.
  • Assist in the management of a portfolio of large, complex participation/syndication loans assuring satisfactory loan services, covenant and reporting compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Assist in the coordination of the sale of participation interest in association originated loans.
  • Confirm appropriate loan structure and terms, conditions and covenants, and collateral requirements consistent with underwriting and risk management objectives.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions and risk mitigations with participants while addressing borrower needs.
  • Develop, grow, and maintain participation/syndication relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Generally requires bachelor's degree, preferably in business or ag related field.
  • Five or more years of related experience.
  • Proven understanding of credit processing and servicing activities, accounting principles and practices, credit analysis procedures, credit administration, monitoring and reporting.
  • Proven knowledge of syndicated finance and senior debt loan structuring.
  • Proven decision-making, negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Proven interpersonal, collaboration, communication, team building, problem solving, analytical organizational and time management skills.
  • Advanced computer skills including MS Office applications and financial analysis software.
  • Valid drivers' license.
  • Ability to travel to perform certain required duties.
